Business Arising from Minutes
Bylaw 1216.17 – Second and Third Reading
• Council moved to give Second, Third and Final Reading to Bylaw 1216/17 being a Bylaw to
change the designation of an “ER” lot to a “PUL” in consolidation of two properties.
Subdivision Application S-03-17 Broadway Realignment
• Council approved the subdivision of Ptn Lot 1 Blk 1 Plan 892 0155 subject to conditions.
AUMA Rebate Options
• Council directed Administration to defer the AUMA rebate funding decision to September’s
standing committee meeting and to request public input on options for the funding.
Civic Centre Lower Level Renovations – Award of Tender
• Council moved to award the tender to IMC Construction Ltd. for the bid amount of $191,688
for construction costs to renovate the downstairs program room known as the Seniors Centre for needed additional office spaces.
Civic Facilities Development Strategy & Master Plan- Project Award
• Council moved to award the tender to RC Strategies + PERC & ACI Architects Inc. for the bid
amount of $103,480 to prepare the Civic Facilities Development Strategy & Master Plan and accept the administrative recommendation that that the portion of the project cost in the amount of $38,480 be included in the 2018 Capital Budget in order to finish the review.

• Council approved the proclamation request to make September 24-30 Alberta Development
Officers Week.
