The Junior Girls Youth Bowling team will represent Alberta at the national finals May 5 – 8 in Gatineau, Quebec.
The team from Heritage Lanes won the Provincial Championships March 5 in Calgary with a dominating
performance and look to continue their success at the national
championships.
Coached by Tony Zirk of Blackfalds, the team has a great mix of experience and enthusiasm.
The team is led by Kennedy Chrest of Olds and has a high league average of 213. Former national competitors Emma Jean Ostrikoff (Red Deer) and Keaton Chrest (Olds), along with rookie Karys Zirk (Blackfalds), the girls hope to bring home the gold.
